Images in the University Archives

The University Archives maintains a collection of over 2,500,000 images relevant to the history of the Madison campus, UW System Administration, UW Extension and the UW Colleges. The collection also includes some images of the Madison area and some from around the state, mostly agricultural, rural life and farm scenes. To use the image collections, appointments are recommended: call 608 262-0428 or email.

Most of the items in the University Archives collection can be ordered for publication or display. Submit requests for reproduction to Bernie Schermetzler at the number or email above.
